Go ahead with diversity
The general objective of this action is to contribute to the recognition of LGBTIQ+ rights for the improvement of the democratic rule of law in Bolivia and as a specific objective to contribute to “a strengthened and articulated LGBTIQ+ rights movement in Bolivia that requires the generation of official data from political advocacy. The proposal of this objective responds to polarization in Bolivian civil society as a phenomenon that has been increasing in recent years and that has affected LGBTIQ+ civil society organizations in Bolivia. This polarization manifests itself in disagreements on issues such as political strategy, the inclusion of different identities and sexual orientations, and the relationship with the State.
POPULATION / BENEFICIARIES
The existing national and municipal LGBTIQ+ networks in the national territory such as the Coalibol LGBTI, the TLGB Collective of Bolivia, the Lesbian and Bisexual Network, the Transfeminist Movement, OTRAF, Trebol and the Network of Diverse Trans Men of Bolivia, the municipal networks and articulations such as the Citizen Council of Sexual Diversities (La Paz), the LGBTIQ Coordinator (Cochabamba), the Movement of sexual diversities and dissidences (Santa Cruz), Fameli (La Paz), the Diversities Movement (Tarija), the Diversities Movement (Beni), the Diversities Movement (Sucre), the Diversities Movement (Pando) and the National Association of LGBTI Seniors, among others in the 9 departments of Bolivia.

EXPECTED RESULTS
Result 1: National and subnational LGBTIQ+ networks with strengthened capacities to promote and defend LGBTIQ+ rights in Bolivia.
Result 2: Political and social impact for the generation of official information and the improvement of public policies and their implementation on the LGBTIQ+ population from the first national survey of LGBTIQ+ populations in Bolivia
Result 3: Internal and external alliances with other movements and sectors (feminists, Afro-descendants, Families of LGBTIQ+ people, communities with a focus on ancestry.) to increase solidarity with LGBTIQ+ rights for a more democratic society.
